1-What are your hours of operation?
6:30 am - 6 pm
2-What age children do you accept?
Children beginning with 6 weeks through 5 years
3-Is outdoor playtime available?
Yes,our center is equipped with two appropriate areas of outside play. All children have scheduled times to explore their outside world. For your child's safety, our center has six foot fencing around the outside play area. Our play equipment abides by the Federal regulations on safety and their surrounding fall zones.
4-Are meals and snacks provided?
Yes, we serve hot meals and nutritional snacks. Our center has a full service kitchen and cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines and proper portions for young children. For children needing special diets or have dietary restrictions due to allergies, we are more than happy to accommodate your child.
5-Is your staff trained?
Yes, the staff at American Child Inc. are required to follow the NC State regulations that apply to training with ongoing continuing education. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Injury Prevention and Child Abuse Awareness. Most lead teachers have associate degrees in Early Childhood Ed.or Birth through K. Co-teachers have creditials I AND II. Many have more than 16 hours in Educ Credits. American Child staff stays up to date with new childcare laws and regulations.
